Welcome to Country Musings!
This blog is for the musings and happenings of a blessed family on a ranch - complete with maidens and knights in training, 2 milk cows, lots of cattle, bulls, cats, and coyotes. Oh yes, and we musn't forget the dogs!
We love the Lord and doing anything to serve Him. Our interests also include family, friends, ranching, horse riding, shooting, hunting -on the boys side-, and playing with the chickens.

How to add a button
If you would like to add our button to your blog, but don't know how, here are some instructions.
Copy the script in the scroll box below the picture. Log into your blogger account and click on the 'layout', or 'design', button in your dashboard. Then click on the "add a gadget" on the side. Choose HTML/Javascript. Paste the code that you copied into the content box. Add a title, if you want, and then click save.
You can then click and drag your new gadget to wherever you want it located on the side of your blog. Ta-da!

Galatians 5: 16-26 (NISB)
"..But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against and Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forwarn you, just as I have forwarned you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control; against such things there is no law.
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another."

Happy Birthday Mrs. H, but... What happened? You can't just post a title of 'Birthday Fun', and then leave it hanging:-)
Or maybe it's my computer that just won't let me see it. I'll feel really silly if that's the case...
Anyway, Happy Birthday!
Well, it was a surprise party. Are you surprised??? Actually, the poster (I won't mention names) hit the wrong button. She'll fix it ASAP, though......when Mom lets her on the computer. Thank you for the happy note, and be glad it's not your computer this time. We love you!!
I am NOT afraid to say names!!! I am the one who did it, but it is computers fault!! It should at least ask you "Are you really sure you want to publish it?" or something. I am working on the other "real" post with a bunch of pictures attached!! :)

Im sure you had a wonderful time, and we wish we could have been there to celebrate with you. We love you all and miss you terribly.
