Sarah's Treasures from the Past

Hello readers!  This is my page for my knitting and sewing business.  Feel free to look around, and please leave a comment on the original blog page HERE (for some reason, comments aren't formatted on these pages) to let me know what you think.   Also, check back often as I will be adding new things when projects are finished.  Please remember that these projects take a long time to make, so if you are ordering a custom color or design, please be patient with it's arrival time.  I will be trying to get a few things pre-made so that you just pick what you want and it will be shipped to you as soon as I can find a box to put it in. :-)
**To order, simply comment with your email address, a little about yourself, and what product you were interested in.  I do not mind giving more information through email if you wanted more details or more pictures of a certain project and/or it's variations.  Thank you!!

1860 Civil War winter shawl from Godey's magazine (original pattern): $275

This lovely shawl is done in 100% lace weight wool.  Although the wool is light, it is very warm.  Perfect for those chilly days around the camp fire, or even while you are sitting in you favorite chair, reading a book while you sip your tea.

Four Gore skirt- $27 (for larger sizes), $23 (for smaller)

This lovely 4 gore skirt is hand made with all seams finished with the serger, preventing fraying later on.  The skirt has a very nice slimming effect on larger sizes.  Skirts are an easy wear item that can be casual or dressy.  Accents, such as buttons, ruffles, bows, etc, can be used to add an additional flare of femininity.  Length comes to lower mid-calf, though it can be made longer or shorter to fit your size.  Ruffles also add some length.  Solids or random prints recommended. Please email me if you would like pictures of different variations/colors of this skirt... *Photo courtesy of Ellie*
